By SAH

Milestone: 10 Million LTI-Free Safe Man-Hours, Project: Sayyid Tarik bin Taimur Cultural Complex, Date: 17 February 2026, Location: Airport Heights, Muscat, Oman

A Major Safety Achievement

The Sayyid Tarik bin Taimur Cultural Complex has achieved 10 million safe man-hours without a Lost Time Injury, marking a significant health and safety milestone for the project.

This achievement reflects the discipline, vigilance, and collective responsibility demonstrated by everyone working across the site. It reinforces a working culture in which safety remains central to every activity, task, and decision.

A Collective Site-Wide Effort

Reaching this milestone required the continued commitment of engineers, supervisors, workers, managers, HSE professionals, subcontractors, and support teams.

Through daily coordination, risk assessments, inspections, training and compliance with approved safety procedures, the project team has worked together to maintain a safer working environment and protect everyone on site.

Recognising Safety Leadership

A special ceremony was held on 17 February 2026 to celebrate the achievement and recognise individuals whose leadership and contribution supported the project’s safety performance.

Trophies and certificates were presented to key project representatives, and the programme also recognised the winners of the Best Drawing Competition. The event concluded with a commemorative cake-cutting ceremony involving project leadership and team members.
